Health Department Hosts CCMS Health Fair

CCMS Health Fair

Crook County Middle School students checked out Crook County Sheriff Search and Rescue equipment, heard how much sugar is in a can of pop, and learned that eating more fiber is good for colon health. Nearly 30 community organizations shared their expertise with CCMS students during the biennial CCMS Health Fair on Friday, Feb 28. The Crook County Health Department organizes the event as a way to educate youth on healthy behaviors and activities. Vendors also expose students to community resources and career ideas. Thank you, Crook County Health Department and community organizations, for putting on this valuable event.
